This monastery, newly built two years ago (as of 2005), is growing rapidly and currently consists of eight buildings. It is located north of Yangon on a side road between Haukkant Junction and Hmawbi. There is currently no telephone connection and it operates independently of S.N. Goenka. By taxi, it takes about an hour from Yangon. 10-day retreats as in the tradition of S.N. Goenka. Languages: Burmese with English translation.
